Skanska signs contract for USD 80 M, about SEK 670 M, for rehabilitation of three train stations in Brooklyn, USA
Skanska has signed a contract with the MTA, New York City Transit, for the renewal of three train stations in Brooklyn, NY. Skanska will include the project value, USD 80 M, about SEK 670 M, in order bookings for Skanska USA Civil for the first quarter of 2015.
Skanska will renew three subway stations on the Sea Beach Line in Brooklyn, NY. The work includes platform and canopy replacement, refurbishment of control houses, electrical and communication upgrades, and structural repairs along the rail structures between the stations.
Construction has begun and is expected to be completed in November 2018.
