Skanska builds nursing home in Oslo, Norway, for NOK 440 million, about SEK 460 M

Lindeberg nursing home will include 144 rooms, good facilities for residents and an administrative part for the employees. The nursing home will have a total gross area of about 16,000 square meters.
The nursing home, which will be equipped with solar cells on both roofs and facades, is environmentally certified according to BREEAM-Excellent and has the ambition to be classified as a Net Zero Energy Building, NZEB. The project will also be carried out as a fossil-free construction site.
Construction commences during the second quarter of 2018 and the nursing home is scheduled to be completed by mid-2020.
