Skanska sells care home in Gothenburg, Sweden, for about SEK 290 M

The four-storey Villa Kviberg will consist of 77 apartments and comprise a total of 5,000 square meters. It will be located in an area where Skanska has developed the residential project Kvibergs Ängar. The care home, which is developed and built by Skanska Sweden, has high sustainability requirements and will be certified according to LEED. The building will be equipped with solar cells on the roof.
Construction began in the summer of 2019 and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2021.
Skanska is one of the leading development and construction companies in the Nordics, with operations in building construction and civil engineering in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and developing residential and commercial property projects in select home markets. The commercial development stream is also active in Denmark. Skanska had sales of about SEK 67 billion and more than 15,500 employees in its Nordic operations during 2018.
