Skanska invests about SEK 450M in residential project in Solna near Stockholm, Sweden
Ängsklockan is being developed in a central location in Järvastaden, Solna. The buildings will offer apartments ranging from one to five rooms with kitchens, arranged around an inner courtyard featuring greenery and a pergola that provides space for play, community, and enhanced biodiversity. Residents will also have access to a bicycle pool with a variety of bike types.
Sustainability is a core aspect of the project. The roofs will be equipped with solar panels, and energy use will fall below Sweden’s building requirements. The facades are energy-efficient, and all construction materials have been carefully chosen to minimize climate impact. Like all homes developed by Skanska in Sweden, Ängsklockan will be certified according to the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
Construction will start in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the buildings are expected to be fully completed in the first quarter of 2028.
