Skanska to build hospital expansion in New York, USA, for USD 120 M, about SEK 830 M

Skanska has signed a contract with NYU Langone Medical Center to build a new medical center in New York City. The contract, worth approximately USD 120 M, about SEK 830 M, will be included in the order bookings for Skanska USA Building in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Skanska will build a new 15,000 square-meter, 5-story Ambulatory Care Center, which will include an emergency department, surgical and imaging suites, a pharmacy and physician office space.

Pre-construction services have begun and the project is estimated to be completed in October 2017.
